Manjeet Chadha, MD

Manjeet Chadha, MD, serves as Associate Chairman of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center and as a Co-Leader of the Gynecologic Cancer Program of Continuum Cancer Centers of New York. In addition, she is an attending physician in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel and St. Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals. Dr. Chadha is an expert in breast and gynecologic malignancies and is an active member of the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Programs at Continuum. She has extensive experience in external beam therapy, accelerated partial breast irradiation and has developed new techniques for breast brachytherapy and intraoperative radiation. Her research interests have involved the study of treatment approaches that stress quality-of-life while maintaining optimal cure rates. Dr. Chadha also serves as an associate professor of radiation oncology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She received her medical degree from the Government Medical College in Amritsar, India, and completed her residency training in Radiation Oncology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Chadha is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She is board certified by the American College of Radiology. She is President of the New York Gynecologic Cancer Society for 2006.
