John Rescigno, MD
Attending Physician – Radiation Oncology

John Rescigno, MD, is an attending physician in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Beth Israel Comprehensive Cancer Center – West Side Campus. He is a board certified radiation oncologist who specializes in the treatment of breast, lung, and gastrointestinal cancers as well as lymphoma.

Prior to joining Beth Israel, Dr. Rescigno was an attending physician and acting chairman in the Radiation Department of St. Vincent’s Comprehensive Cancer Center in New York City where he worked for eight years. He has also authored many articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Rescigno graduated from New York University School of Medicine where he was the Honor Program’s First Prize Recipient for Basic Science Research. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and later his residency in radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center also in New York City. In 2000, he was awarded an Avon-Product Foundation Scholar.
