Neurology
Adult Dystonia Support Group is a support group for patients with dystonia. The group was started in 2000 and is the only group of its type in New York City.

After Stroke Group is a support group for stroke survivors and their caretakers. The group will share information and experiences as well as discuss the latest issues in treating strokes.

Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Surgical Support Group is open to all people who have had DBS surgery or are considering it. The meetings include both invited speakers and open discussion forums.

Oncology
Gastric and Esophageal Cancer Patient Support Group is designed to establish a strong support network for patients with the diagnosis of cancer, surgery and adapting to life after surgery. The group also aims to enhance the quality of life by addressing aspects of the physical, psychological, social and spiritual well being that may have been adversely affected by the patient’s diagnosis or treatment.

Smoking Cessation
Stay Off Smoking (SOS) is a free smoking cessation support group. Through teaching cognitive and behavioral modification techniques, the group helps people quit smoking and remain smoke free. Come get the motivation and support from others as you change your life and become healthier.

Victim Services
Rape Crisis and Domestic Violence Intervention Program is a supportive, short-term, structured group in which each member shares their story. The group’s focus is to lessen isolation, provide emotional support and discuss effective coping strategies.
