Support Groups at Beth Israel
Type 1 Support Group is a free group for those
living with Type 1 diabetes. Topics include managing each individuals
eating, exercise and body image, along with managing relationships, and
discussing fears and frustrations
After Stroke Group is a support group for
stroke survivors and their caretakers. The group will share information
and experiences as well as discuss the latest issues in treating strokes.
Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Surgical Support Group
is open to all people who have had DBS surgery or are considering it.
The meetings include both invited speakers and open discussion forums.
Manhattan Parkinsonís Support Groups are for
individuals to discuss living with Parkinsonís. They include both open

Menís Parkinsonís Support Group was started
in 2008 and is designed to specifically address the needs of men living

Parkinsonís Caregiverís Support Groups specifically
address the needs of caregivers with Parkinsonís patients. The meetings
