Interlibrary Loan
Get the information you need. For items not available on site, our Document Delivery team can order each staff member up to thirty free articles per year! Over thirty articles please speak to the Director of the Library for Specific charge back information.

Photocopying
Two photocopiers for self service copying at ten cents per page. Departmental accounts may be created for billing reports.

Customized Literature Searches
Customized computer literature searches can be performed for medical and non-medical information. Please allow 2-3 days turnaround time for non-emergency clinical searches. Emergency searches can be requested on a "rush" basis.

Database training in traditional medical searching and evidence-based medicine is available.

Circulation
Books may be borrowed for two weeks, and renewals are available.

Journals do not circulate.

Library Access
A valid Beth Israel Medical Center ID is required for all library users. Registered library users may refer non-employees to the Phillips Library for temporary privileges. A referral form may be submitted for approval by the Library Director.

Use of computers, printers and copiers for personal use is not permitted.

Changing computer settings is prohibited and will lead to loss of privileges.
