For more than fifty years, the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at St. Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals has been a major provider of mental health care for the diverse communities of Manhattan's Upper West Side.

The Department offers a variety of services such as individual, group, and psychopharmacologic therapies in day treatment, inpatient, and outpatient model settings. With five distinct clinical divisions categorized by patient population, including The Child and Family Institute, The Addiction Institute of New York, and The Women's Health Treatment and Research Program, the Department currently provides over 155,000 visits annually.

The needs of the ever-growing number of psychiatric patients in our community are evolving and complex. In response, we are expanding, strengthening, and enhancing our services with staff and improved facilities. We cannot continue our program of advancements, however, without the support of our community. We hope you share our vision to maintain a psychiatric/behavioral health center on the Upper Westside offering an unparalleled level of services. Please join us by "Investing in the Mental Health of New York City."
