Hepatitis C
The Peter Kruger Center is proud to introduce our new Hepatitis C program for patients co-infected with HIV and Hepatitis C. Patients are now able to receive intensive Hepatitis C education, care and treatment by a team of hepatitis specialists.

HIV Screenings Now Available in Beth Israel Medical Center's Emergency Room
As part of a grant from HIV Care Services of New York, AIDS Center employees and the ED staff have teamed up to create a new service for BIMC patients. Emergency room patients are now able to receive an HIV test performed by HIV counselors. Rapid HIV tests are used, with results available in 20 minutes.

New Computer Lab for Residents at Mapplethorpe
The Robert Mapplethorpe Facility recently opened a computer lab for residents. The computers allow residents to browse the Internet, use email, play games and learn basic skills. In addition to open studio time, classes are taught by volunteers.

COBRA Case Management Services Now Available
At the Peter Krueger Center, COBRA Case Management services are now provided through the AIDS Service Center of New York. Counselors can help you with housing and benefits issues, as well as arrange for home care where warranted.
