Women's Project
The Women's Project provides support services to women who are living with HIV/AIDS or who are at risk of HIV transmission by engaging in high-risk behaviors. We are a harm-reduction program working with women who are actively using alcohol or other drugs, or with a history of substance use, to reduce the harm they may cause to themselves or others. Women who are in recovery are offered support and assistance with the new challenges they experience.
Our program provides women with a safe environment. We offer individual supportive counseling, group counseling, case-management, health education, and risk-reduction counseling.
Women meet with our Licensed Social Workers for individual and/or group
counseling sessions, develop an individualized service plan and set goals
related to their physical and emotional health. The Women's Project gives
women the strength, knowledge and support to take control of their lives.
