Costemetic Services

  • Botox cosmetic

Years of frowning, squinting and smiling leave behind fine lines and wrinkles. BOTOX Cosmetic is injected directly into the muscles responsible with a tiny needle and works by reducing crease causing contractions. There is minimal discomfort and no downtime. Within days, you may see an improvement that can last up to 4 months. If there is concomitant volume loss, soft tissue fillers may be recommended for more complete correction.

  • Chemical Peeling

Chemical peeling can reduce fine lines, improve the appearance of scars, diminish dark marks and enhance texture. The procedure involves applying a chemical solution that causes the top layers of the skin to exfoliate, allowing newer, revitalized skin to emerge. A peeling agent is chosen based on the specific skin condition being addressed, your skin type and the goals of treatment. You can expect to feel some warmth and mild stinging during the procedure. Whether you are looking for quick refreshment or a deeper, stronger peel, we will choose the one best suited for your skin. Microdermabrasion may be used concomitantly to enhance results.

  • Lasers & Devises

    • Q Switched Nd:YAG – The Pigment Laser

Tattoos, sun spots, various birthmarks and types of melasma can be lightened or removed by the Q Switched Nd:Yag. This laser specifically targets pigment and immediately leaves behind some redness and mild scabbing, which heal within a few days to a week afterwards. For tattoos, injectable numbing medicine is used to make the procedure comfortable and 6-10 treatments are typically needed depending on the colors. Sun spots (known as solar lentigos, liver or age spots) fade quickly, often peeling away within 1-2 sessions while café au lait macules, nevus of ota/ ito and melasma best respond after a series of treatments.

    • V-BEAM PDL: Redness

Recent advances in laser technology have made it easier than ever to ‘get the red out.’ Whether you have persistent redness associated with acne and rosacea or prominent blood vessels, our V-Star pulsed dye laser can selectively targets the problem, leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. We have also used the V-Star successfully to remove port wine birthmarks, reduce the appearance of red stretch marks and to treat recalcitrant warts. The procedure is minimally uncomfortable and may leave behind temporary bruising which, in most cases, resolves in days.

  • Soft Tissue Fillers

As our skin matures, we lose volume and gain wrinkles. Volume loss is most evident in the face and hands, where the natural deterioration of underlying connective tissue leaves a hollowed, aged appearance. Wrinkles, meanwhile, arise due to repetitive facial movements associated with smiling, laughing, squinting and frowning. Soft tissue fillers are substances injected under the skin to contour and volumize. Contouring can be accomplished with hyaluronic acid based fillers (Restylane, Juvederm and Perlane), while volume replacement can be achieved with fillers that stimulate collagen production, such as poly-L-lactic (Sculptra) acid and calcium hydroxyapetite (Radiesse). While fillers effectively shape and plump, optimal results may require the addition of BOTOX to reduce facial wrinkles associated with muscle movement.
