The Department of Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center has a mission to provide first-rate, state-of-the-art quality care to all our patients. The department consists of nearly 110 full-time and voluntary surgeons representing general surgery and all the major surgical subspecialties:

Full-time and voluntary faculty members hold faculty appointments at the most prestigious medical schools in the metropolitan area, including The Albert Einstein School of Medicine, The Weill-Cornell College of Medicine, Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and New York University.

Patient care is delivered at one or more of three Beth Israel locations, the main Petrie Division, the Philips Ambulatory Care Center and the Kings Highway Division in Brooklyn, as well as through our physician’s practice settings.
