The mission of Mount Sinai Health System and its member Hospitals is to provide outstanding health care, to educate health care professionals, and to further medical knowledge and develop excellence in health care delivery. Our Hospitals are committed to pursuing groundbreaking research, and to conducting research in a manner that ensures the integrity of the research process and maintains the public trust. We have established policies and procedures to support this commitment and to be compliant with federal regulations.

In accordance with this guidance, research Investigators must state their financial interests in a timely manner, in a way that allows their actual and apparent financial conflicts to be identified and responsibly managed and reported. These policies pertain to employees, voluntary staff, students, consultants, sub-contractors, collaborators, and others involved in the design, conduct or reporting of research at the Institutions and under their auspices.
