Aside from daily rounds in the intensive care unit, the ICU consult services, Pulmonary Step-down, Pulmonary Consult, and Chest Clinic services also have assigned internal medicine residents, allowing for ample teaching opportunities.

Code and procedural training in the simulation lab is run by the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine attendings and fellows.

Bimonthly internal medicine resident conferences led by our attendings and fellows on ultrasound techniques, echocardiogram, noninvasive and mechanical ventilation are also scheduled.
