Center for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency
In 2002, the Center for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency was designated
a "Center of Excellence" for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency
by the Alpha-1 Foundation. We are the only such center in New York.
Our physicians have been involved in a National Registry supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for patients with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency and associated emphysema.
We also host Alpha-1 support groups at regular intervals. For more information,
