The Appel-Venet Comprehensive Breast Service is located in Suite 4E at Beth Israel Medical Center 's Phillips Ambulatory Care Center (PACC) at 10 Union Square East In Manhattan . This convenient facility means that our breast cancer patients only need to go to one location for evaluation by all of our specialists.

For an appointment, it's important that patients bring all required information to make the visit as productive as possible. This includes: appropriate referral and insurance/billing forms, X-rays (mammograms, sonogram) with reports, pathology slides with reports, health history, and physician contact information. It is helpful to prepare a list of questions before the visit, and to have a supportive family member or friend to accompany you on the visit.

Upon your arrival at our offices, you will be asked to complete a detailed health history questionnaire. Educational materials pertinent to your health issue will be available for you. You will be provided with contact information to reach the doctor or clinical staff should questions arise. If surgery is recommended, we will help coordinate preoperative preparations.
