The methadone clinics at Beth Israel are comprised of a full-service interdisciplinary team, that work to help patients eliminate their opioid addiction and become self-reliant. The team at MMTP includes physicians, physician assistants, nurses, social workers, substance abuse counselors, financial counselors and vocational rehabilitation staff.
The medical staff is experienced in the treatment of substance abuse and have all been trained in providing methadone. Additionally, many of our physicians are certified to provide buprenorphine.
The methadone treatment program has more than 80 professionally licensed nurses on staff, providing both a holistic and healthy environment.
Additionally, the social workers, counselors, vocational rehabilitation staff and financial counselors work with patients and their families to help them move forward. They provide a variety of services including therapy and job research and placement.
