Stress Test

Henry Greenberg, MD
Bette Kim, MD
Seth Uretsky, MD

For patients with suspected coronary disease, ECG/EKGs may reveal more information during an exercise or “stress” test. A stress test is conducted on a motorized treadmill or stationary bicycle, with a physician continuously monitoring the patient’s ECG/EKG and blood pressure. If coronary disease is present, the ECG/EKG will show abnormal waves as the treadmill’s grade or the bicycle’s speed is increased.

For a referral to an expert cardiologist at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, call 877.996.9334.
