Are You At Risk for Cardiovascular Disease?
Heart attack  •  Stroke  •  Vascular disease

The Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Program at St. Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City, is dedicated to improving the quality of life of patients with heart and vascular disease and identifying and reducing the risk factors for those who could potentially be afflicted. The program is part of the outstanding heart and vascular disease resources available at St. Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals.

We are a specialized program that focuses entirely on heart and vascular disease prevention. With cardiovascular disease being the number one killer of men and women in America, prevention of cardiovascular disease is more important than ever. We are at the leading edge of scientific and clinical developments in the prevention of heart and vascular disease, and our comprehensive program offers patients optimal evaluation and treatment of risk factors.

The Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Program is for people who would like to:

  • Reduce their risk for heart and vascular disease including heart attacks, stroke, and vascular disease
  • Have comprehensive assessment and risk factor identification
  • Begin treatment programs to reduce risk factors
  • Reduce their chances for having progression of existing heart and vascular disease
  • Improve overall cardiovascular health
  • Be screened for cardiovascular disease before participation in sports and exercise programs
